Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the LogLock app ("App") provided by Sidibe Software und Medien GbR ("we"). On iOS, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where the two conflict, these terms apply between you and us.
1. The service
LogLock lets you lock selected apps on your own device until you log a practice session, keep a practice journal, and review insights. App blocking depends on operating-system features (Apple Screen Time, Android Accessibility Service and overlays). We cannot guarantee that blocking works on every device, OS version or in every situation, and you remain responsible for your own use of your device. LogLock is a self-control tool and must not be used to restrict other people's devices.
2. Account
You may use the App without an account. Creating an account requires a valid email address. Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
3. LogLock Pro subscription
- LogLock Pro is an auto-renewing subscription available monthly or yearly. Prices are shown in the App before purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the App or your LogLock account does not cancel the subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies.
- Free trials or introductory offers, if shown, convert to the paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled before then.
4. Your content
Journal entries, notes and recordings are yours. You grant us the technical right to store and process them solely to provide the service. Audio recordings stay on your device and are not uploaded.
5. Acceptable use
Do not reverse engineer the App, interfere with its operation, or use it to violate the law or the rights of others.
6. Availability and changes
We may change, add or remove features, and we may discontinue the cloud service with at least 30 days' notice, in which case you can keep your local data. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
7. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for damage to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable, typical damage. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
8. Termination
You can stop using the App at any time and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
9. Governing law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. We are not obliged and not willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
